The 2008 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament is coming to The Family Arena in St. Charles, Mo., this March, but basketball won’t be the only game played in the arena. On Friday, March 14, fans will have the opportunity to play bingo for great MVC prizes during the noon and 2:30 p.m. quarterfinal games. Numbers will be called during each of the four first half media timeouts and during halftime. Free general admission tickets are available for a limited time. Girl Scouts/Arch Madness Participation Patch Program
The Missouri Valley Conference and the Girl Scout Council of Eastern Missouri have teamed up for the Arch Madness Participation Patch Program. Girl Scout troops completing a series of activities and attending Semifinal Saturday will earn a limited edition participation patch. Participating troops will receive free ticket vouchers that can be redeemed at The Family Arena box office on or before game day. Vouchers are good for one general admission ticket. The championship game of the 2008 State Farm MVC Women’s Basketball Tournament will be dedicated to celebrating breast cancer survivors and promoting breast health awareness. Komen St. Louis Affiliate will host a halftime recognition ceremony that will honor YOU - breast cancer survivors!
